Agreement aimed at achieving sustainable social development

Media Zone Authority – Abu Dhabi has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Family Development Foundation aimed at achieving sustainable social development in the United Arab Emirates.

Media Zone Authority will develop media services, especially in design and content development, which is in line with the Family Development Foundation’s objectives. It will also provide services including graphics design, media training, social media and online planning and campaign execution, in addition to advertising through twofour54, its commercial arm.

As part of the agreement, Family Development Foundation will benefit from twofour54 intaj’s world class film and television services. These include access to state-of-the-art TV studios equipped with the latest High Definition technology (HD) as well as skilled technical and operational staff for producing social media messages and TV commercials. In addition, twofour54 will provide technical courses and workshops through twofour54 tadreeb covering a range of different topics.

Noura Al Kaabi, Chief Executive Officer of Media Zone Authority – Abu Dhabi and twofour54 said: “We are pleased to be collaborating with Family Development Foundation and offer our stimulating creative and professional services through twofour54 core business units – tadreeb, creative lab and intaj. It is an honor to be contributing towards building a bright future for the UAE through positioning Abu Dhabi as a media and entrainment hub.”

Al Kaabi also emphasised the importance of continuous cooperation between Abu Dhabi’s governmental bodies to achieve the strategic objectives of the Emirate.

As part of the agreement, a joint committee will be formed comprising a total of four members to implement the terms of the MoU and develop plans, proposals and activities. The committee will also identify the obstacles and propose mechanisms to rectify problems. Both groups will also hold regular meetings to raise concerns or make recommendations to the senior management.

Mariam Al Rumaithi, Director General of Family Development Foundation said: “We are delighted to receive such strong support from twofour54. This MoU will enable us to enhance our services and achieve our goals in contributing to sustainable social development.

“Through a number of initiatives, programmes and activities, we aim to strengthen the economic and social development while remaining true to our cultural heritage. This agreement will utilise the resources of both parties to develop of the Foundation’s information services. Through the exchange of information and expertise in the field of media, we will work together to strengthen the development, design and maintenance of services and products.”

The Family Development Foundation is a public non-profit organisation with the objective of achieving sustainable social development. Its priorities include maintaining family values and culture, the development of women and child capabilities, family health support, ability to build and develop human resources.
