We’re calling on all twofour54 campus partners, to join us in our campaign “ briefs for good “ which aims to support His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan initiative as 2017 is the year of giving to spread the culture of giving and helping others.
To participate, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll send you briefs from charities that need your specific skills. It could be anything from illustrating amural or designing a poster, to helping organise a charity event or any work that needed by the charity foundation.
If you know of a charity in need, we’d also love to hear from you. By the talents in our media zone, we can make a real difference.
We believe that by mobilising our incredible community of staff and partners we can create real change in the UAE, which is why twofour54’s key CSR initiative for 2016 and beyond is #United4UAE.
Through the campaign, twofour54 encourages employees, partners, freelancers, creative lab community members and their families to unite and devote 2,454 hours to local community charities and organisations.
They can do so by donating their time at any charity of their choice or through the two anchor charities of #United4UAE, “Wanna Read?” and the Special Care Centre.
Volunteers are also encouraged to share their uplifting and inspiring stories and photos at united4uae.com to help scream the awareness of giving back.

The Year of Reading
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has announced 2016 as The Year of Reading in the UAE. We believe reading and writing are not only key skills required for the growth of the media industry, but are also vital in making sure the UAE becomes the centre of creativity and knowledge in the world.
Through #United4UAE, we’re harnessing our community of partners and staff to support the Year of Reading in the following ways:
Everyone at twofour54 is encouraged to volunteer their time reading to children at one of our anchor charities, “Wanna Read?”

In addition, campus community are invited to be filmed reading their favourite children’s book at #thelab every day. Blood Donation Drive
As part of our #United4UAE campaign, we organise blood donation days where a donation bus comes to campus so staff and partners can easily donate blood and help save lives. Each donation counts towards our #united4UAE collective 2,454 hours of community service.
Book Drive Donation
twofour54 organised a book drive where donated books could help local charities and humanitarian organizations improve literacy. The twofour54 community united and together had a whopping donation of over 700 books!
Abu Dhabi Dash
twofour54 sponsored and participated in the Abu Dhabi Dash, a race to promote a healthy lifestyle in the workplace. It is a race amongst other companies in Abu Dhabi, over a distance of 1.5km with teams of 10-12 individuals. Abu Dhabi Dash donated a portion of its proceeds to the Rahma Cancer Care Society, which supports cancer patients, their families and caregivers through overcoming the physical, emotional and eventually financial burdens of their diagnosis.
Operation Smile UAE, an international children's charity, is working in partnership with a recycling company to help turn textile donations from the twofour54 campus into funds that will provide free, safe and effective reconstructive surgery for children and young adults born with cleft lip, cleft palate and facial deformities. Textile donations will be exchanged for an agreed sum that will go into funding operations for those in need.
