TROPFEST Arabia 2011

As part of the world’s largest short film festival, the first TROPFEST Arabia 2011 was held this year in Abu Dhabi,bringing over 12,000 film enthusiasts to the corniche to celebrate short film and discover new talent. Won by Jassem Al Jabbouri from Baghdad, the competition attracted over 100 short films from across the MENA region, with the winning films chosen by a jury of top Arabic actors and directors in addition to the founder of the original TROPFEST, Australian director John Polson.
