New traineeship programme will train UAE Nationals for careers in the TV industry

twofour54’s ‘intaji’ will provide specialist training, skills and a salary

twofour54, the company driving Abu Dhabi’s development as a centre of excellence for world-class Arabic media and entertainment content, has today announced the launch of ‘intaji’, an employment and traineeship programme for UAE Nationals looking to build careers in the television production and broadcasting industry.

The 12 month specialised traineeship programme, will provide skills training with a salary and is considered to be the only course of its type in the region. It has been specifically developed by twofour54 to give young Arabic talent the necessary skills to work in the media industry.

The course will officially start in October – deadline for applications is September 18th – and the successful applicants will embark on a customised training plan that includes a combination of classroom based courses. The course will be delivered by in-house team attwofour54 intaj, twofour54’s world-class production facilities, and a number of leading international media companies including the BBC, Apple and Adobe.

‘intaji’ will allow trainees to specialise in a wide-range of media disciplines including  camera operations, lighting, media management, audio, video and graphics.  The programme has been developed bytwofour54 tadreeb, the region’s leading training academy in co-operation with its global training partners and twofour54 intaj.

On completing the 12 month programme each trainee will receive atwofour54 certificate of completion and those that demonstrate the skills, capabilities and passion required to succeed in this dynamic industry will be assisted in finding permanent employment within thetwofour54 creative community of world class media companies.
